Vista’s new VK2 E-Series HD IP domes – Performance at a price you might not expect

Vista is pleased to announce the launch of the latest VK2 E-Series dome cameras. Building on the success of the popular VK2 IP product range, this new range of cameras offers full HD 1080P broadcast quality video and class leading features at a surprisingly cost-effective price.

The cameras are available in a range of form factors including internal and external domes, all with integrated IR making them suitable for a variety of locations. The true Day/Night lens with IR cut filter ensures HD quality video is available in areas which are not easily viewable with a standard dome camera.

The external domes come in vandal resistant housings which are suited to withstand even the toughest environments including schools, car parks, retail and other external applications.

Each camera offers powerful processing technology which can provide up to 30 images per second across three independent streams, allowing for crystal clear video on live and recorded images. The triple streaming feature means each stream can be set for a different purpose, such as live viewing, recording and optimised for remote mobile apps.

Vista’s unique Event BoostTM technology and SD card support are embedded as standard, ensuring that network bandwidth and storage are optimised without compromising image quality.

Fully ONVIF compliant, the cameras are compatible with Vista’s own range of software and hardware recording solutions as well as other 3rd party manufacturers’ VMS systems including Mirasys and Milestone.

Bob Forehand, Product Manager of Vista, comments: “Our objective was to create a camera range that offered the latest HD 1080p video technology, coupled with the features and build quality our Vista customers have come to expect, all at a price that makes the range highly accessible for the vast majority of applications.”
