Paxton Announces Integration with qulu VMS Plugin for Net2

Paxton is pleased to announce an integration of its networked access control system Net2 with qulu, Vista’s Video Management System (VMS).

Using the Net2 VIP platform, the integration allows Vista’s qulu VMS to display video footage within the Net2 events window; providing enhanced access control and video management on a single platform.

Net2, Paxton’s access control, offers centralised administration and control of sites ranging from one to hundreds of doors, and thousands of users. The integration will add the qulu VMS system to the camera integrations within Net2, allowing cameras to be associated with doors. This in turn will display video footage associated with events generated at these doors. Navigational buttons allow the user to scroll backwards and forwards from the time of the event, for added security and ease.

Key benefits of qulu include:
•    Select multiple regions of interest and view all scenes simultaneously
•    Simple search function displaying any motion events in that area
•    Quick and effective cross platform compatibility to set-up with Net2 door entry
•    Exceptional performance, supports twice as many cameras as other VMS

Steven Canning, Technical Product Manager of Vista, comments: “The user friendly Net2 interface and the simple to implement qulu VMS plugin makes for an accomplished integration that provides an effective, straightforward and simple solution for our customers. We are excited about this partnership and are looking forward to a mutually beneficial working relationship.”
