Vista releases new HD PTZ dome with sunshield

Vista is pleased to announce the release of the VK2-1080XVRDPTPMF fully functional PTZ full HD pendant dome with sunshield. This provides the dome with added protection against glare from the sun.

The new model uses the latest Sony Xarina2 ISP, which allows up to 60ips streaming, digital WDR and improved low light and IR sensitivity. The dome has 4 alarm inputs allowing for easy integration into PIRs for alarm activations.

Ideal for applications requiring evidential purpose images it offers an on-board SD card for local recording on the camera and is robust enough to survive most environments. It is also ONVIF compliant and fully compatible with Vista’s software and hardware recording and control solutions as well as other 3rd party manufacturers’ VMS systems.

Bob Forehand, Vista Product Manager, comments: “This small, vandal resistant pendant benefits from digital WDR which ensures a detailed image is produced even in demanding environments with large variations in light levels. We added the sunshield following on from feedback from customers to ensure that we continue to provide relevant, quality products to the market.”
